March Board Madness

March Madness is not just about NCAA Basketball it is also the time when Pediatric PL-3s begin the madness of getting ready for the Pediatric Boards in October. With a systemic plan of action there is no reason for the madness. Your study schedule should be systematic and your approach to each question should be systematic.

The following vignette is an example where a systematic approach can lead to your discovering the answer in the question itself. We include an example of the important of putting numerical lab values into words.

End the MOCA Madness

March Madness is not just about NCAA Basketball it is also the time when many of us are getting set to fulfill our MOC Part 3 by going through the MOCA process.

While there is certainly less pressure than a 200 question proctored exam there is still inherent pressure. As soon as you start the question you have 5 minutes to submit your answer. Sort of like the 24 second shot clock the basketball players face before they lose possession of the ball!

With a systemic plan of action there is no reason for the madness. Your study schedule should be systematic and your approach to each question should be systematic.

The following vignette is an example where a systematic approach can lead to your discovering the answer in the question itself. We include an example of the important of putting numerical lab values into words.
